MISSION & VALUES
Our Core Values
At Redwood Theatre Company (RTC), we are dedicated to upholding the values of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as foundational to our mission. We strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that embraces the richness and complexity of all identities, particularly BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals. Our commitment to becoming an antiracist organization drives us to foster holistic representation and to support artists, directors, and instructors from diverse backgrounds at every level of our organization. We are proud to offer meaningful employment opportunities for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, actively building a space where all individuals can belong, grow, and thrive.
We recognize that building an inclusive environment requires continuous learning, self-reflection, and adaptation. RTC acknowledges the importance of language justice and is working toward becoming a bilingual organization to serve our community better. As we evolve, we remain steadfast in our commitment to fostering a supportive and inspiring space for artists and community members alike.

Our vision is to develop, produce, and present extraordinary professional performances throughout Sonoma County. We aim to provide performance opportunities for artists and athletes from around the world while fostering a passion for the performing arts in audiences of all ages, inspiring the next generation of artists and arts enthusiasts.
Land Acknowledgement
Redwood Theatre Company acknowledges that we are located on the ancestral lands of the Southern Pomo and Graton Rancheria people. We recognize the enduring impacts of colonization and displacement experienced by Indigenous communities. We extend our gratitude to the Southern Pomo and Graton Rancheria people for allowing us to be guests on their land.
Accessibility
Redwood Theatre Company is dedicated to making our productions and events accessible to individuals of all abilities. We have remodeled our Healdsburg studio to ensure wheelchair accessibility and are working on additional accommodations to support audience members with hearing and other needs. As we grow, we remain committed to enhancing access for artists and patrons with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive experience for everyone in our community.
